And just like that, we are to the final game of the season. We hit the road today for Indianapolis and The National Championship Game. The journey has had so many twist and bumps for Alabama, and they continue to survive. The injuries started in Game 1 vs. Miami and have remained a storyline all season. That leaves the need for one more hero in the final game. Bryce, Will and Jameson have been Super Heroes. Mathis, Branch and BRob have been monsters. Yet, my gut, Alabama will need one more star to emerge. Maybe it’s Brooks again…or finally Billingsley. Remember OJ Howard in the desert, Clemson had no answer. That no answer domination would be a sweet surprise Monday. Who could it be? Safe travels to Indy everyone. We’ll see you there.
