Spring practice is in high gear all over College Football. I’m starting to look at every Alabama practice update differently. I’m starting to see the pictures that we will see in 20 years remembering The Nick Saban Years. The photographs or videos that will accompany features and specials about The Greatest Coach of All Time. The picture above is one of those. This is from the first practice in pads this season. The Coach, still in the middle of all the action, directing the show. Unlike Paterno, Bowden, and Bryant to some degree…Nick Saban still runs the practices, the pace, the intensity. His engine has long been his biggest gift. We are not guaranteed tomorrow, so I’m taking the time to soak up and treasure every picture on what has been a ride of a lifetime. – Jim Dunaway
