It has been a long time since I’ve gone into a season thinking that Tennessee may play a factor on who ends up in Atlanta…but here we are. When I think about Georgia’s biggest challenger for the East, it always comes back Orange. South Carolina was solid under Shane Beamer and Spencer Rattler could make a major impact. Kentucky has become one of the most consistent products in the East but they just seem to struggle to score points at different parts of the season. Billy Napier will get Florida right at some point, but first years are hard. Vandy and Missouri seem to be on a slow and fast build respectively. Then there is Big Orange. Not bad in the trenches. Skill players on the edges. A QB that is getting some Heisman Dark Horse talk. And a Play Caller in Head Coach Josh Heupel who has shown that he can get people open.
