Winning a championship takes consistency throughout a season. It also takes playing your best at the end of the year. There is still time, but that is not where Alabama Softball is right now as the NCAA Tournament starts Friday. The Tide secured a National Seed of 6 Sunday (pictured above) which means they’ll play at home all the way to Oklahoma City and The World Series. The problem is getting out to OKC.  Alabama has to find its offensive identity again, and that killer instinct. The bats are cold. Bounced from the SEC Tournament without a win for the first time since 1999, Patrick Murphy’s bunch will have to roll through Stanford and then Tennessee to get a revenge shot at Florida State and one more shot against Number One Seed Oklahoma. Get ready for the best show on dirt, it starts this week! – Jim Dunaway
