I’ve been lucky to hang out with Nick Saban a few times over my career and I get another chance Wednesday as we help Countdown to The World Games in Birmingham. This is one of my favorite pictures of us together (above). He doesn’t age much, I have. My love for this snapshot has nothing to do with the hair I used to have, it is all about the laughter. I don’t remember what was said and it really isn’t that important. This picture has always been a reminder to me that we have a really fun job. Me a sportscaster. Him a Coach. Jobs that we both dreamed about and worked hard to have some success. He’s had so much more than me, but these laughs were like championship confetti for me, and I’ll treasure them forever. – Jim Dunaway
