Lane Kiffin is using his Bye Week before Alabama to do what he does best (or at least as good as he calls plays). Kiffin is riding a publicity wave to promote his brand and Ole Miss Football. Unbeaten, ranked in the Top 13 and going into Tuscaloosa next week in what will be one of the biggest games of the weekend. Kiffin has commented about how the media needs to stop “upsetting” Nick Saban. He has commented about Alabama “cherry picking” the best talent from other teams. Kiffin has tweeted at South Carolina Coach Shane Beamer, hinting Alabama’s talent is better than Georgia’s. Then last night, Kiffin tweeted a thank you to longtime Alabama Staffer Cedric Burns. The picture above says it all. Rat Poison. Kiffin is in his comfort zone and he knows how to take Nick Saban out of his. You’ve got to wonder if Kiffin knows that he has the team to not just do that online, but on the field too.
