THE MORNING ROUNDS (SEP 28)

Thursday is a special day in Talladega. The International MotorSports Hall of Fame will honor DEI Racing for its dominance on at The Talladega and Daytona SuperSpeedways. Ceremony is at 1pm, public is welcome with admission ticket. A Dale Earnhardt Jr. winning car from 2002 and the 2003 Daytona 500 Winner from Michael Waltrip will go into the IMSHOF. Starting in 2001 thru 2004, there were 8 races at Daytona and 8 at Talladega. DEI Won 11 of 16 and in 4 of those races, they finished 1st and 2nd. This weekend as you go to the track to watch the Chase for The Championship in The YellaWood 500, stop by the IMSHOF and go inside. It is right by the track and a great place to see racing history.
