SEC Network’s Peter Burns joins The Next Round to talk SEC basketball, Alabama vs. Georgia, College Football Playoff selection and the biggest questions across the Southeastern Conference!
Are the Florida Gators the clear team to beat in SEC basketball—and who can challenge them? Peter weighs in on Florida’s place atop the conference conversation, the contenders chasing the Gators and how many SEC teams could earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. From conference bragging rights to March Madness expectations, we discuss the SEC’s depth and its potential tournament field.
Plus, which school has the SEC’s best football and basketball coaching combination? We debate one of the most interesting questions in college sports: Who has the strongest leadership across BOTH programs?
On the football side, Peter shares his thoughts on the Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Bulldogs showdown in Tuscaloosa. With two SEC heavyweights meeting in T-Town, we get his perspective on one of college football’s biggest matchups.
We also discuss Peter’s SEC Network partner Chris Doering being named an SEC Legend and Peter’s upcoming trip to observe a mock College Football Playoff selection.
