“There’s nothing easy about The SEC.” Kirby Smart said it after a win over Missouri but I had tweeted out earlier in the day about how tough it is to win in The SEC on the Road. The tweet came after watching Kentucky, A&M, Alabama, LSU, and then Georgia battle it out on the road. A mixed bag of results, but the packed venues and crazy atmospheres are always amazing. I’ve never covered other conferences, just The SEC. I only know the stats of road games at Iowa, Penn State…Eugene and Salt Lake…or trips to Manhattan or Fort Worth. I’m sure those are monumental challenges for Ohio State, USC, and really good Oklahoma teams. I was just stating what I know, Saturday was proof again, how tough it is to win a conference game on the road in The SEC. – Jim Dunaway
