Preseason Number 1 in both polls, graphics on Historic AP Poll Dominance, and now ESPN writes a story about the two greatest players in CFB this season, and your team have Number 1 and Number 2 (and 5 of the Top 24). There is no doubt Nick Saban’s team has the bullseye this year. (Saban pictured above at Wednesday’s practice) Alabama and Ohio State seem a lot alike, in fact, the Buckeyes have the 3rd and 4th best players in the ESPN 100 Ranking. Key injuries were a huge storyline at the end of last season for Alabama, and getting back to the playoffs with as much of this team on the field may be key again if The Tide wants to meet expectations. – Jim Dunaway
