We will get Part 2 of Alabama vs. Auburn Basketball Tuesday Night in Auburn Arena. Alabama beat the Defending National Champs Baylor Saturday to break their losing streak. Auburn won their FIRST EVER HOME GAME AS THE NUMBER ONE TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. I was in Auburn Arena to see it. I had a chance to talk with Sonny Smith’s daughter Sheri and Charles Barkley before the game (picture above). The school raised a banner to honor Sonny and Wife Jan during pregame ceremonies. What a gracious and loving family. There was a buzz in the building. The Last 8 Days had been special inside Auburn Arena; Beat Kentucky, First #1 Ranking Ever, Women upset #4 Tennessee, Gymnastics beat Alabama in front of a packed house, Sign Bruce Pearl to a 8 Year Contract, Beat Oklahoma in SEC Big 12 Challenge. Now here comes Alabama, 8pm Tuesday on ESPN. You can feel the sizzle.
