Alabama is on the road this week, facing a team that had the week off after beating Texas A&M. I always love my trips to Starkville to watch Mississippi State play. Baseball weekends are a “Bucket List” item. The football vibe is different. There is always a measured since of hope that the home team can pull the upset. I was there on October 25th in 2014 when State beat #2 Auburn and jumped to #1 in College Football. They held that top spot for 4 games and 5 weeks until they lost in Tuscaloosa. This State team is different. This Alabama team is not. The 2014 Tide had a loss on the resume when they beat MSU. Alabama went on to the first CFB Playoffs by running the table after the early October loss. This road looks familiar to guys in the white uniforms this weekend.
