Whatever happens in the Bo Nix Era at Auburn, Saturday night was the best. One week ago today, everyone was wondering how Bo would handle an interview on The Next Round that he was contractually obligated to keep because of our NIL agreement. He had just been benched and TJ Finley had just saved the day. Bo Nix was 5 minutes early like he has been every week. He was gracious, professional, and honest. He stayed on point. He wanted to still be Auburn’s QB. Bryan Harsin started Bo Saturday, pulled him for one series, and then put him back in the game in a “Ride or Die” fashion. Then it was like watching an artist. Not the stuffy formal kind that hang their work in museums. No, this art was upside guitar in a packed stadium. A solo that seemed to last forever. A 4th Down Scramble, TD pass that made Johnny Football blush. Add to that, a Game Winning Drive in the Final 7 minutes to win at a place Auburn hasn’t won at since 1999. The Bo Nix celebration above is art. Not all those cheering wanted Bo to still be QB, but on this Louisiana Saturday Night, they better be glad he was. *Editors Note: Bo Nix will do another contractually obligated interview with us today at 11:00am Central. My bet, he’ll be just as gracious and professional as last week.
