The addition of Spencer Rattler and a large number of other talented players thru the portal has been the main talking point in the offseason. The hard facts are this, Shane Beamer got it right his first year, with one of the worst offenses in CFB. The Gamecocks were 111th in Total Offense and yet, South Carolina was 7-6 and won their bowl game.
