If you’ve listened to the show for any length of time, you know I’m a huge College Softball fan. The College World Series in Oklahoma City is one of my favorite events and is about the only major sporting event I haven’t been to in my career. Maybe this is the year I’ll go and hopefully Alabama will be back there. Montana Fouts (pictured) is one helluva star. This past weekend she dropped 11 K’s on 8th ranked Virginia Tech in a shutout and backed that up with a 13 strikeout performance. This team is loaded, and they have pitching depth behind Montana which makes them a threat to challenge the bats of Oklahoma for the championship. We are long way from OKC, but I’m already dreaming of Montana Fouts vs. Jocelyn Alo of Oklahoma. She’s the NCAA All-Time Home Run leader and there’s a good chance Montana is the only thing standing between her and The Sooners winning another title. LFG!- Jim Dunaway
