I never know what is “Real Outrage” or just the timing of big stories that increase the amount of the conversation. Jordan Addison considering leaving Pittsburgh for a program like USC is the main course this week. Addison is The Biletnikoff Award winner as the best WR in CFB. So why leave your team? Reason 1, your QB from last year was just a first-round pick. Reason 2, it is Pitt, there are more prestigious programs out there that could contend for The CFB Playoffs or get you in more high-profile games. Ahhh, but this is 2022, so IT MUST BE THE MONEY. It’s the money and the timing that has everyone on tilt. If this had happened back in January, there would have been less outrage, but remember that Jameson Williams left Ohio State for Alabama this time last year. Addison saw his team in Spring Practice and maybe he didn’t like the vibe, or maybe it is the money, or the prestige, or catching balls from a better QB. Whatever the reason, we need to get comfortable with the moves…basketball coaches have been dealing with it for almost a decade now. – Jim Dunaway
