The sun sets on the Auburn Baseball season in Omaha last night. (picture above) The Tigers’ pitching staff finally ran out of gas after dominating performances in the NCAA Tournament to get AU to The College World Series again. No matter the circumstances, there is always a disappointment when you lose your last game. That said, Butch Thompson got the most out of the roster. They leave with an empty tank. This morning’s sunrise brings a positive light on what was an excellent season for Auburn Baseball. – Jim Dunaway
