Sport & State founder Clay Travis joins The Next Round to talk Tennessee Titans turmoil, Arch Manning’s biggest decision, and why college football fans may need to rethink what makes a great season.
Clay reacts to his beloved Titans trading Jeffrey Simmons to the Chicago Bears and discusses what comes next for quarterback Cam Ward. What does the move say about Tennessee’s direction, and can Ward become the franchise’s long-term answer?
Plus, Clay makes the case that 9-3 is a REALLY good college football season—and that the era of undefeated seasons is over. Are fans ready to adjust their expectations?
We also ask Clay what he would advise Arch Manning to do: stay at Texas, enter the transfer portal, or go pro? And should Kentucky head coach and Kentucky native Will Stein listen when other programs come calling?
Of course, we couldn’t let Clay leave without addressing a little Cheesecake Factory controversy…
Drop your thoughts in the comments: What should Arch Manning do next, and would you be happy with a 9-3 season for your team?
