I feel like Alabama fans were looking for a hero last week in Jordan-Hare Stadium and like all great Marvel Movies, it took a couple of heroes to save the world. This time it was Bryce Young, Ja’Corey Brooks and John Metchie. John is back on the show today and we’ll talk about that drive and the challenge ahead. I listened to his post game deep inside the locker room at Jordan-Hare last week. He talked about confidence. Something I think a lot of Alabama fans lost when that punt was downed inside the 5 yard line with only a few ticks left on the clock. Confidence that I believe is hard for a majority of Alabama fans to find this week. Saturday will be another day that Alabama is looking for someone to step up and save the day. Maybe it’s Bryce and Metchie again. Maybe it’s Jameson and Billingsley or Will Anderson and the defense. Maybe we don’t know the name yet…like Ja’Corey Brooks. Alabama is the underdog, but by simple definition, confidence is the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something. Win or lose, this team is very different than the 2020 Champs, but they are not empty on confidence.
