Both with huge crowd advantages at neutral sites just a short drive from the opponents campus. Yet it happened. Alabama beat them both. ESPN noticed with this historical fact. Alabama became the first school to beat AP Top 5 Teams in football and basketball on the same day. Nick Saban had got all the laughs in his post game news conference when he said all the “Rat Poison” that us media types had been pumping out all week was “Yummy”. All I can say Coach, “you’re welcome.”
